Hello! My name is Pascal Burg and I live in a beautiful region called Saarland. For a long time I made my way with jobs in the office area, where I also did Five apprenticeships. However, it has become increasingly difficult to find a real job there in recent years and this work no longer fulfills me as it did at the beginning. So at the beginning of 2019 I decided to give my professional path a new direction. Due to my technical interest and the need to practice a job that challenges me in terms of both logic and creativity, I have arrived at the development of web programs and feel very comfortable there. It was clearly the right decision.

I gained my first basic knowledge of responsive web design and extensive basic knowledge of JavaScript from many lessons on the online learning platform FreeCodeCamp. Where I was able to obtain certification of the skills I had learned in both areas. Immediately afterwards, I was able to gain important knowledge in dealing with the React front-end framework via the online learning platform Scrimba. TAfter all the online lessons and exercises, I wanted to write my own programs. The first project was with a good friend who has been a programmer himself for many years, a web application with which you can easily and quickly create a character for the table role game Marvel Heroic Roleplaying Basic Game. My first very own project followed immediately afterwards and should enable the user to quickly and easily create a complete email application online. That means a cover letter, curriculum vitae and attachments such as certificates and references. This should then also be able to be sent directly by email.

I am currently using a pure front-end version, but later it should also be possible to register a user account and to be able to save the data or applications entered. For example, you don't have to keep re-creating your CV, you can simply add or remove an entry. To achieve this goal, however, I need a backend and that's why I started to acquire knowledge and skills in PHP and SQL, as well as dealing with REST. Further innovations / versions of my program will be available online in the future, as well as a repository on my GitHub account.
